"Dennis Bollier, founder of The Wellness Group, has been under contract with the New Haven Police Department to educate our new Police Academy Students on the importance of, and the steps necessary in taking a more proactive role in optimizing their own health as well as that of their families. The approach and teaching style of Mr. Bollier was well prepared and professional.
The long range value to our new class of police academy students and myself is seen important enough to have now made the decision to have The Wellness Group develop a similar education model to be applied to all, approximately 500 New Haven Police Department personnel, as
a segment in their annual re-certification training. The Division of Training and Education view this material as an important resource in creating a better level of health for our valued personnel. We also see this work as having the potential benefit for other Police and Fire Departments, as well as any other employers concerned about good health.
